First Trailer for Steve Jobs

In 2013, a Steve Jobs movie was released called Jobs that many people didn’t like too much. It starred Ashton Kutcher as Steve, and while the actor looked exactly like a young Steve Jobs, his voice and skills couldn’t nail the performance.

Fortunately, another Steve Jobs movie has been on the rise with Aaron Sorkin writing and Danny Boyle directing. After losing Christian Bale for Steve Jobs, they replaced him with the just as amazing Michael Fassbender. Starring along side of Fassbender will be Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak.

The first trailer for Steve Jobs has officially released and has Jobs already gone from my brain. I am extremely excited for this because Fassbender’s performance looks pretty damn amazing. I like that the trailer seems to show that the movie will recount the events of Apple while also displaying who Jobs was as a person. I think that the movie should offer a better look at the story of one of the greatest minds when it releases on October 9th this year.

Kodi Smit-McPhee Cast as Young Nightcrawler in X-Men:Apocalypse

nightcrawl

Last night Bryan Singer tweeted out that the upcoming 2016 X-Men:Apocalypse has found its Nightcrawler in young actor Kodi Smit-McPhee. He joins the amazing cast that already includes the likes of Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy along with newcomers Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, and Tye Sheridan who are playing the young versions of Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops.

X-Men:Apocalypse is looking like it will be one very epic film with the new cast being put together, especially with Oscar Isaac playing the villain. I really like Smit-McPhee’s look for Nightcrawler and think he should be able to pull off the roll well. X-Men:Apocalypse is scheduled for a May 27, 2016 release date and trailers should start popping up later this year.

Marion Cotillard to Star Alongside of Michael Fassbender in Assassin’s Creed

Just yesterday some news came out regarding the planned Assassin’s Creed movie being produced by New Regency and 20th Century Fox. The movie based off of the popular and successful video game was officially given a December 21, 2016 release date, one week after the first planned Star Wars spin-off. The movie has been greenlit for awhile now but aside from knowing Michael Fassbender would star and Justin Kurzel would direct, nothing else has been announced.

More news has been released today that Marion Cotillard will be joining the motion picture to star alongside of Fassbender, which is funny because the two stars worked together on the MacBeth adaptation that is also directed by Kurzel. There have been no official announcements of which character she will be playing, but so far the film has made two great casting decisions.
